CISA: Top 10 Steelmakers To Account For 60% Of Industry Output By 2015

China is aiming to strengthen its self-sufficiency in iron ore and speed the consolidation of its steel industry, China Iron and Steel Association vice chairman Wang Xiaoqi said Tuesday. The government is aiming to have the country's top 10 steelmakers account for 60% of industry output by 2015 versus 50% now, he said.

中鋼協(xié)副會長王曉齊周二表示，中國正努力提高鐵礦石自給自足的能力，同時加快鋼鐵行業(yè)整合；中國政府計劃，到2015年國內(nèi)前10大鋼鐵生產(chǎn)商的產(chǎn)量占行業(yè)總產(chǎn)量的比例將從目前的50%提高到60%。
